PRESS: Rosneftegaz to switch to paying dividends every six months
MOSCOW, Jun 18 (PRIME) -- Russia’s state energy holding Rosneftegaz will switch to paying interim dividends for every six months, Vedomosti business daily reported on Monday citing three federal officials.
The sources also said the dividends for 2017 will amount to around 33 billion rubles. One of the sources said that the sum will equal almost 100% of the company’s Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) net profit of 34 billion rubles in the year. A source close to the government has confirmed the information.
Rosneftegaz has already paid 17.26 billion rubles of the sum in interim dividends for January–June 2017 and is yet to pay 15.74 billion rubles for July–December.
Rosneftegaz has declined to comment.
